As a Compliance and Risk Officer/Manager, you will: Provide leadership and direction for compliance and risk management programs, working collaboratively across departments and with credit union leadership to guide policies, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance. Be responsible for the credit unions compliance program and formalizing existing compliance management systems. Monitor changes in laws and regulations, ensuring timely dissemination of information to company leadership and necessary updates to policies and procedures. Manage, coach and mentor a small team of compliance staff who may have some operational duties. We need you to have: At least 5 years of experience in bank or credit union compliance. 2 to 3 years of management experience and bachelor’s degree preferred. Awareness of current fraud trends and ability to understand technical controls to mitigate fraud risk. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across teams to foster a proactive culture of compliance and risk awareness.
