About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance and Risk Management Operations, Associate to join our dynamic team. As an operations associate, the position focuses on administering and enhancing various compliance processes and helps us guide toward operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, project management capability, and the ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment. As a member of a global team, reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, you will be emersed in all activities of the Compliance Department with an emphasis on enabling business outcomes within our compliance objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 0-2 years of professional work experience
  • Project management skills in a cross-functional setting, including planning, scheduling, and action-item tracking.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency or ability to learn common office tools (PowerPoint, Excel) and productivity and project tools (Microsoft 365; GRC tools, experience with Jira/Smartsheet is a plus).
  • Willingness to learn and immerse in new technologies (including AI), processes, and compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment.
  • Interest in developing professional skills in the compliance field.

Responsibilities

  • Employee Training and Awareness Campaigns: Support the delivery of compliance and risk awareness programs, including administering web-based programs.
  • Vendor Risk Management Program Support: Collaborate with procurement and security teams to streamline the processes for assessing third-party vendors in order to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Maturity Risk Assessments: Assist in coordinating risk assessments (regulatory and cybersecurity) and tracking remediation efforts to enhance organizational security posture.
  • Risk Register Maintenance and Reporting: Maintain the enterprise risk register, ensuring accurate documentation and regular reporting to stakeholders.
  • Policy and Process Optimization: Coordinate the periodic reviews of compliance policies and processes, recommending improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Website Optimization: Ensure compliance-related content on internal and external websites is accurate, up-to-date, and user-friendly.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Tracking and Reporting: Support the monitoring of KPIs that measure compliance program effectiveness and provide actionable insights to leadership.
