About The Position

This position serves as compliance and administrative support for the Board for Contractors, the Polygraph Examiners Advisory Board, and the Waste Management Facility Operators Board. Specifically, this position performs compliance-related tracking and data entry for disciplinary cases and Recovery Fund claim transactions, oversees compliance-related correspondence, and processes compliance-related applications. This position also provides administrative support to the Regulatory Operations Administrator and the Regulatory and Compliance Analyst for the section. Review and respond to applications and requests for licensure. Determines eligibility of applications and evaluates applications for completeness and strict compliance with statutes, Board regulations, and policies. Issues licenses to qualified applicants, notifies applicants of application deficiencies, and advises what steps should be taken to resolve deficiencies. Creates, maintains, and updates accurate filing systems for all applicants and compliance for the section. This position is not a full-time telework position. Upon hire into this position, the agency requires the incumbent to be in the position for 90 days before a specific telework schedule may be submitted for consideration.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Ability to analyze statutes and regulations and make independent determinations regarding compliance with applicable statutes and regulations
  • Review applications to determine whether statutory and regulatory requirements for licensure are met
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with peers
  • Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills are essential
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; ability to manage a heavy workload and meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to navigate data entry/word processing programs to keep accurate records and prepare grammatically correct documents.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a regulatory environment is preferred.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel).
  • Experience in customer service.
