About The Position

This position provides support to the Compliance Program by helping with tracking, data entry, follow-up, and documentation. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in healthcare compliance or privacy. Operating Responsibilities Assist with annual Compliance and Privacy training: send reminders, track completion rates, and follow up with staff. Support the Conflict of Interest (COI) process, including deployment, tracking, and reviewing completed forms. Review and sort incoming hotline calls and compliance referrals; escalate when needed. Assist with data loss prevention follow-up when staff send PHI or sensitive data externally. Support project tasks, including Compliance Week activities and posting the monthly Compliance Newsletter. Enter and organize data in the contract management system and assist with patient-facing compliance letters. Help format and edit compliance documents, presentations, newsletters, and reports.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, data entry, and basic reporting.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and follow procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in healthcare, legal, privacy, risk, or compliance fields.
  • Experience with SharePoint, newsletters, or basic document formatting (not required but helpful).
