GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Illustration Specialist I supports the Client Solutions team by performing detailed validation, auditing, and enhancement of annuity illustration and projection tools. This role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills and works collaboratively with team members to ensure the accuracy and quality of illustration outputs.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience, including internship or prior professional experience in financial services, insurance, or a corporate environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with navigating within MS Excel
• Exposure to MS Teams, Word, Outlook and other day-to-day business applications
• Ability to recognize error patterns and effectively communicate issues to the team
• Ability to maintain company attendance, punctuality and dependability standards as stated in the company handbook
• Ability to work collaboratively and successfully with fellow employees, key stakeholders, and other outside third parties

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Validates illustration output for numerical accuracy using Excel tools developed by actuarial team members.
• Owns designing strategic test plans for product changes and clearly document and communicate findings and outcomes.
• Collaborates with team members to design, test, and implement calculator enhancements that meet stakeholder needs.
• Conducts ongoing audits and regulatory reviews of illustrations to ensure all versions of the illustrations remain compliant.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
