FAM Residential Inc. is seeking a detail-driven Compliance Administrator to join the on-site team at Wyvernwood Garden Apartments, one of our flagship communities in Los Angeles. This is a role where your precision and expertise directly protect the property, support residents, and keep our operations running without a hitch. You’ll work at the intersection of regulatory compliance and financial recordkeeping — managing everything from Section 8 and RSO documentation to deposit accounting and audit-ready file management. No two days look exactly the same, and your work will matter. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in property management compliance and/or bookkeeping
  • Section 8, RSO, and SCEP — Hands-on knowledge of 
  • Yardi Experience with 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine commitment to accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines without dropping the ball
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Own compliance for Section 8, set-aside units, and City of Los Angeles housing programs — keeping every certification, re-certification, and deadline on track
  • Monitor RSO and SCEP obligations, flagging issues before they become problems
  • Maintain complete, audit-ready tenant compliance files at all times
  • Support regulatory reporting and be the point person during compliance reviews and inspections
  • Manage day-to-day accounting entries and financial recordkeeping in Yardi
  • Track and reconcile security deposits with accuracy and consistency
  • Assist with monthly reconciliations and financial reporting for property leadership
  • Ensure all fees, charges, and compliance-related expenses are properly coded and recorded
  • Keep digital and physical compliance files organized, current, and always inspection-ready
  • Coordinate with the Regional Manager and corporate HR on reporting standards and filing requirements
  • Serve as a reliable resource for internal documentation during audits and regulatory reviews
