Ironhorse Funding is a leading provider of innovative, technology-driven, full spectrum finance solutions to consumers and dealers in the motorcycle, powersports, RV, and marine markets. We provide customers across the entire credit spectrum access to financing and refinancing programs with competitive rates and flexible terms through our direct-to-consumer and dealer programs. We want every customer to have access to financing for their dream ride. We have an immediate need for a Compliance Administrator to join our team located in Irving, TX. You will lead the compliance needs for the organization's for Motorcycle, Powersports, RV and Marine assets. This role is ONSITE Monday to Friday 8am-5pm or 830am- 5:30 PM. As the Compliance Administrator at Ironhorse Funding LLC, you'll play a crucial role in shaping and maintaining our compliance framework. This position involves assisting in the review and development of policies and procedures to ensure adherence to Federal and State regulations. You will research and provide insights to senior management on regulatory impacts related to product development, lending, and servicing practices. In this role, you'll implement and manage an effective compliance program aligned with best practices, oversee testing and monitoring of client programs, and establish strong communication channels with various Business Units. You'll directly manage compliance training needs, maintain oversight of licensing, exams, and annual reports, and ensure consistent enforcement of compliance rules. Additionally, you will foster a supportive environment that upholds Ironhorse's commitment to integrity and excellence in the finance industry.

Requirements

  • To excel as the Compliance Administrator at Ironhorse Funding LLC, you will need a robust set of skills and a solid background in compliance practices.
  • You should possess a minimum of 5 years of direct experience in compliance monitoring, testing, or oversight within the consumer finance industry, with a high-level knowledge of federal and state industry-specific regulations such as TILA, ECOA, FDCPA, FCRA, UDAAP, state-specific licensing and disclosure requirements.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial, complemented by effective communication abilities-both written and verbal-that enable you to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Your management and leadership prowess will be vital for recruiting, training, and overseeing your department staff.
  • A collaborative spirit and adaptability are key to navigating the dynamic challenges in compliance and fostering a culture of integrity within the organization.
  • Ability to assess business processes, identify compliance risks, evaluate controls, and interpret complex regulations.
  • High level of accuracy in monitoring, testing, documentation, and reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication for regulatory correspondence, policy writing, and staff training.
  • Competence in developing and delivering effective compliance training to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple compliance projects, including remediation and examination responses, simultaneously.
  • Proactive approach to identifying issues, developing solutions, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Skilled at working cross-functionally and building relationships across all three lines of defense.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with business units (1st line), oversight functions (2nd line), and internal audit (3rd line) to ensure effective risk management and compliance.
  • Develop and execute monitoring and testing plans for consumer finance operations, with a focus on loan origination, servicing, and collections.
  • Identify, report, and track remediation of compliance deficiencies.
  • Draft, revise, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to align with evolving regulations and business practices.
  • Ensure operational procedures reflect current legal and regulatory requirements for financing motorcycles, powersports, RVs, and marine vehicles.
  • Conduct ongoing research on federal and state lending laws (e.g., TILA, ECOA, FCRA, UDAAP, state-specific licensing and disclosure requirements).
  • Interpret regulatory changes and communicate actionable guidance to business units.
  • Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees at all levels.
  • Ensure training addresses regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.
  • Track, investigate, and resolve compliance issues, complaints, and potential violations.
  • Develop and monitor corrective action plans to address identified deficiencies.
  • Prepare compliance reports for management and board-level review.
  • Maintain documentation of monitoring, testing, training, and regulatory communications.
  • Provide day-to-day compliance guidance to operational staff, management, and business partners.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and respond to examination requests, findings, and corrective action plans.
  • Assess and monitor third-party service providers for compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Review and approve vendor contracts and due diligence documentation.
