About The Position

NOTE: This is a fully remote position and the candidate can be anywhere in the U.S. Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Compliance Auditor to join our Compliance / Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will act as a critical line of defense, ensuring that our internal operations meet both client-specific requirements and industry regulations. You will manage a diverse portfolio of cases—ranging from standard customer complaints to complex legal and compliance incidents—ensuring every issue is documented, analyzed, and resolved. The ideal candidate is a "data detective" who enjoys digging into monthly reports to identify trends and thrives in a fast-paced environment where production standards are constantly evolving.

  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills for handling sensitive legal items and communicating with internal stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Ability to stay updated on shifting compliance landscapes and implement new rules into the audit cycle immediately.
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in an Administrative role in repossession or financial institutions.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
  • Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Internal Client Audits: Conduct regular audits of internal workflows to ensure adherence to client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and internal protocols.
  • Incident & Claim Management: Receive, investigate, and document all incoming complaints, operational incidents, and compliance breaches.
  • Legal & Compliance Oversight: Monitor legal items and regulatory updates, ensuring the QA department and broader production teams are informed of changes that impact day-to-day operations.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Extract and analyze monthly audit reports to measure department performance. Identify "red flag" trends in claims or incidents and propose corrective actions.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the production teams to refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) based on audit findings to minimize future risks.
