About The Position

The Complex General Manager is accountable for the profit and loss of two or more facilities. This role encompasses overseeing manufacturing operations, including throughput, cost and waste control, maintenance, quality, and inventory management to meet budgeted production metrics. Key responsibilities also include sales, customer service, strategic planning (business, marketing, and capital planning), human resources (workforce engagement, diversity, recruiting, hiring, employee and leadership development, and labor relations), financial management (budgeting and compliance), and ensuring environmental, health, and safety compliance with company policy and regulations. The position reports to the NA Packaging Solutions General Manager and manages a direct staff including a Site Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Complex Controller, and Sales Manager.

Requirements

At least 7 years corrugated experience

Responsibilities

Accountable for profit and loss of two or more facilities.
Manufacturing, including throughput, cost and waste control, maintenance, quality, inventories control and meeting budgeted production metrics
Sales, including local sales, customer service, and partnering with region sales manager to establish and meet facility sales goals, identifying and targeting market segments, deploying division pricing strategy
Strategic Planning, including business, marketing and capital planning processes
Human Resources, including workforce engagement, diversity, recruiting and hiring, employee and leadership development and employee labor relations
Financial Management, including establishing and managing budgets and compliance with financial controls
Environmental, health and safety, including company policy and laws, state and federal regulations
