Repsol has an opening for a Completion Engineering Intern located in The Woodlands, Texas. Internship Details: Position will be based out of our office in The Woodlands, TX. Interns are expected onsite Monday-Friday, with the exception of 9/80's. The 9/80 schedule is optional per the manager's discretion, based on intern project scope and timeline. Non-local candidates may be considered but must arrange their own travel and temporary accommodations. A summer stipend will be provided to help offset out of pocket expenses. Students must be available for the full duration of the internship from May 18 - Aug 7. Any personal time off must be approved by the supervisor as unpaid leave and should be noted with the recruiter as early as possible. Interns will receive an hourly wage but are not eligible for benefits or paid time off. Interns will be compensated for observed company holidays. Requirements

• Fully authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship now or in the future. Additionally, we are not authorized for employment under OPT/CPT/F1 visa programs.
• Successful completion of 2 years towards a Bachelor's (or higher) in an Engineering discipline
• Detail-oriented, a strong analytical background
• Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of Products
• Demonstrate an understanding and enthusiasm for the oil and gas industry
• Strong written and oral communication skills with a variety of technical and non‑technical staff
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Professional conduct is fundamental to success in this position
• Proven organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Support completion engineers with daily project activities and assigned tasks
• Assist with data compilation, organization, and basic analysis related to completion operations
• Help prepare reports, presentations, and supporting technical documentation
• Participate in team meetings, project discussions, and engineering reviews
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as drilling, geology, subsurface, production, and HSE as needed
• Follow established safety standards, procedures, and company policies
• Complete an assigned internship project and present results at the conclusion of the program
