As a leading developer, manufacturer, and global supplier of scientific laboratory products for 100 years, Corning's Life Sciences segment collaborates with researchers seeking new approaches to increase efficiencies, reduce costs and compress timelines in the drug discovery process. Using unique expertise in the fields of materials science, surface science, optics, biochemistry and biology, the segment provides innovative solutions that improve productivity and enable breakthrough discoveries. Scope of Position As part of Corning Life Sciences' Strategy and Market Intelligence group, this role is responsible for leading all aspects of Competitive Intelligence for the Life Sciences business. The position involves close collaboration with global stakeholders to provide relevant external insights and informed, source-based perspectives on the competitive landscape, supporting decision-making for key initiatives. The role emphasizes building a strategic and fundamental understanding of key players by market segment, including their business strategies, structures, and operational capabilities such as capacity and resources. Additionally, it involves monitoring competitive tactics to guide actions and countermeasures for commercial and business teams. This position is also expected to contribute to broader Strategy and Market Intelligence functions. Project assignments will be determined based on business needs and may include areas such as Market Intelligence, Strategic Planning, Strategy Deployment, and External Development.
