About The Position

The Compensation Specialist participates in the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs. This role involves compensation analysis, benchmarking, reporting, and problem-solving in support of those programs, as well as participation in compensation surveys and ad hoc benchmarking and market research. The Specialist also assists with the annual year-end process and may administer various reward and recognition programs and compensation software platforms enterprise-wide.

Responsibilities

  • Lead in-depth analyses of current compensation programs, identifying areas for improvement and alignment with market trends.
  • Provide strategic advice to HR and senior management on compensation-related decisions and policy development.
  • Oversee the collection, validation, and reporting of compensation data to support decision-making processes.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to inform compensation strategy and maintain competitiveness.
  • Ensure all compensation practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the development and administration of compensation programs, including incentive plans, reward and recognition programs, annual merit and incentive compensation cycle, and compensation vendor management.

  • Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year.
  • Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.
  • Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December.
  • You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
