About The Position

The Compensation Manager plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing competitive compensation programs that attract, motivate, and retain top talent within the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring that compensation strategies align with the company’s business objectives, market trends, and regulatory requirements. The Compensation Manager will analyze compensation data, conduct benchmarking studies, and develop salary structures that promote internal equity and external competitiveness. They will collaborate closely with HR, finance, and leadership teams to provide insights and recommendations that support organizational growth and employee satisfaction. Ultimately, this role ensures that compensation practices are fair, transparent, and effectively communicated across the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in compensation management or a related HR function.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and legal regulations in the United States.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and compensation management software.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Professional certification such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP.
  • Experience working in a multinational corporation or complex organizational environment.
  • Familiarity with executive compensation and equity plan administration.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Tableau.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compensation programs including base pay, incentive plans, and equity compensation.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure compensation packages are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • Analyze compensation data and prepare reports to support decision-making by senior management and HR leadership.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners and department heads to provide guidance on compensation-related matters and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the annual salary review process, including merit increases, promotions, and bonus allocations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of compensation programs and recommend adjustments as necessary.
  • Ensure clear communication of compensation policies and programs to employees and management.
  • Support the design and administration of employee recognition and reward programs.
