Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience, including three (3) years’ experience in compensation and classification work.
  • Must possess/maintain a working telephone and valid Driver's License.
  • Must submit to/pass pre-employment background and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Senior level HR Certification (SHRM, HRCI, IPMA) or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides guidance, coordination, and support through the consistent application of the County’s job classification and compensation policies and practices.
  • Plans, develops, and implements new and revised compensation programs, policies, and procedures that meet the County’s goals and enhance the County’s ability to attract and retain a diverse workforce.
  • Recommends adjustments to the County’s pay structure and staffing table by conducting regular research, market assessments, and surveys;.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining accurate job descriptions, organizational charts, and data entry and management of Human Resources records.
