As a Compensation Advisor Senior within PNC's Corporate & Institutional Banking organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. We are seeking an experienced professional to serve as the most senior individual contributor supporting Corporate and Institutional Banking (C&IB) Compensation. This role requires deep expertise in compensation practices and/or advanced data analytics capabilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in advanced Excel, Tableau, and Workday, with a strong ability to analyze and interpret complex data to drive strategic decisions. Prior experience working with C&IB business segments and exposure to international compensation practices is preferred. In addition to technical expertise, this role will own relationships with HR Business Partners, Recruiters, and Line of Business leaders and executives to ensure alignment on compensation strategies. The individual will also train and mentor junior team members, delegate effectively, and foster collaboration across the broader enterprise compensation initiatives. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential to influence stakeholders and guide the team toward delivering high-quality insights and solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Leads in the design, implementation and administration of organizational employees' base salary, incentives, sales and executive compensation.
  • Conducting job analysis, job evaluations and salary increase reviews to ensure employees get the right pay.
  • Ensures the effectiveness of existing compensation policies and procedures and recommending plan revisions to compete with market trends.
  • Consults with and provides compensation recommendations and strategies to business partners based on various factors, such as market trends and peer equity analysis, to remain competitive and equitable, as well as attract and retain talent.
  • Creates and prepares reports and presentations for the purpose of providing written support and/or conveying information to senior management.
  • Ensures compliance with internal controls and procedures in support overall organizational financial and operational soundness.
  • Coaches and mentors other team members on compensation philosophy, procedures and analytical needs; Assists management team in training new staff.
