About The Position
CareOne Senior Care is currently seeking a reliable and compassionate caregiver for a client located in Shelby Township. Case Details Mondays: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM Fridays: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM Two days per week with steady hours Client Needs Medication reminders Meal preparation Mobility assistance (walker and wheelchair for safety) Light housekeeping The client is able to dress independently. Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Physically able to lift at least 25 lbs., bend, kneel, and walk throughout the shift
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and vehicle registration
- Access to a reliable mobile phone for scheduling and communication
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Must pass a background check
- Current TB test (may be completed after the interview process)
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
- Support clients with dementia and Alzheimer’s care needs
- Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene
- Perform safe transfers using gait belts and Hoyer lifts (training provided)
- Transport clients to appointments, errands, and outings
- Promote the client’s safety, dignity, and comfort at all times
