About The Position
Lutheran Sunset Ministries is currently seeking compassionate individuals to join their team in Companion Services. This part-time position focuses on delivering companionship and light housekeeping services to individual clients. The role is for individuals dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Requirements
- Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation; must be able to travel to and from client assignments
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds for at least 50 feet (e.g., transporting groceries into a client’s home)
Nice To Haves
- Prior customer service experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and social engagement to clients
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including dishwashing, laundry, and general tidying
- Assist with errands and everyday tasks
- Support clients with activities such as reading and conversation
