Requirements

• CPR Certification (current or willing to obtain upon hire).
• Experience preferred, but not required—we’re happy to train the right person.
• Ability to read and follow care instructions and document services provided accurately.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Compassionate, dependable, and respectful toward residents and their unique needs.
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• The ability to read, follow written instructions, and document services provided
• Patient, kind, and enthusiastic
• Self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision
• CPR certification preferred; training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Shopping and errands
• Light housekeeping such as laundry, ironing, and dusting
• Home organization
• Transportation assistance
• Meeting the safety needs of clients and using equipment safely and properly
• Documentation and care procedures for client services
• Pet care assistance
• Quick promotion to home health aide possible.
