About The Position

Your role is to provide hands on care and assist residents as needed with their
care and ADLs along with being a companion to the resident. Assists with helping
to keep resident’s apartments tidy and other domestic duties as requested by the
resident. By a companion and keep our seniors active while encouraging and
respecting their independence.

Requirements

• Current Arizona Caregiver/Med Tech Certificate required.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and document care
• Someone who provides high levels of customer care with compassion and heart
• Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods of time
• Maintain safe and sanitary work conditions
• Flu vaccine required

Responsibilities

• Ambulation and transfer assistance
• Toileting, bathing, and grooming assistance
• Wake up services and dressing assistance
• Meal preparation
• Organizational help
• Ambulation support (pushing a wheel chair or accompanying for balance)
• Errands (grocery and household goods shopping, etc.)
• Companionship
• Schedule and medication reminders
• Maintain service plan tracking of all services performed
• Know and understand resident’s expectations and meet those expectations within community policy
• Inform Supervisor of any changing conditions that affect the resident’s ability to function independently
