This position functions within the SEARHC Community Wellness Department. It involves collaborating with other SEARHC departments and strategic partners to improve patient access to comprehensive prevention and healthcare services, including coordination of program activities, documentation of services, eligibility screening, reimbursement for services using grant funds, and expansion of services. The primary purpose is to identify and assure payment of Community Wellness grant programming, ensuring utilization of grant funding for eligible patients, and promoting cost-effective health care outcomes. The role monitors trends to improve accounts receivable through analysis of charge validation and denials resolution and performs patient accounting functions such as verifying grant enrollment, accounts receivable management, and claims follow-up.
