About The Position

Help shape the future of Grace Church’s online viewing community! We’re seeking a relational, organized, and mission-driven coordinator to launch, support, and grow Community Viewing Groups. This role partners closely with church leaders, volunteers, and communications teams to create welcoming, well-run viewing group experiences and meaningful online engagement. You’ll manage logistics, data, training, and communication while helping people connect, grow, and belong. Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in database mining and management, plus experience in professional relationship building and relationship management.
  • Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Spirit.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite and able to learn and implement new systems (CCB, etc.).
  • Has demonstrated skills in relating to and working with people, especially volunteers, church staff, and the congregation, within a team environment.
  • Has demonstrated a spiritual capacity and heart willingness to view this work as ministry to the Lord, by serving the body of Grace Church.
  • Has a commitment to personal and active participation in the fulfillment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).
  • For ministry staff positions, the staff member is willing to become a member of Grace Church, regularly attending worship services and participating in the life of the church.
  • Compatibility with the Grace Church mission, vision, values and priorities, and a lifestyle appropriate to a person in Christian ministry.
  • Has a commitment to prayer, as evidenced in both corporate and personal prayer times.
  • The staff members agree to abide by the staff handbook.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and evaluate viewing site locations.
  • Oversee background checks for all viewing site leaders.
  • Maintain CCB database to accurately capture attendee information from all Viewing site locations.
  • Working with the Grace Communications team, help build & review communication (print, email & web) related to viewing groups.
  • Working with the Grace Communications team, manage online communication to the broader church body to drive interest in our online community to establish more viewing groups.
  • Leverage internal systems and create processes as needs are determined.
  • Work with Group leaders to influence a positive viewing site guest experience on Sunday mornings.
  • Ensure communion elements, signage, or other materials are sent to group leaders at appropriate timing.
  • Schedule quarterly training events with Viewing Group leaders to Build and maintain connections.
  • Track, maintain and report attendance weekly across viewing groups.
  • Work with Ministry leaders to help establish, support, and maintain online offerings as directed by Sr. Director (example: partnering with Men’s team to offer Men’s Bible studies online – determining who does what and how / when it gets communicated, assigned, established etc.).
  • Establish a regular cadence of communication specifically engaging members of online campus
  • Assist in the establishment and support of new viewing groups
  • Manage CCB to identify densely populated areas ripe for viewing groups.
  • Work with Sr Director to identify and connect with potential viewing group leaders.
  • Work with Sr. Director to recruit, train and equip volunteer viewing group leaders.
  • Develop new viewing site guest intake and follow-up processes
  • Administration for Sr Director SEOE
  • Participate in team meetings and prayer.
  • Manage receipts, track expenses, and help manage budget.
  • Set up meetings and events and prep content as needed with individuals or groups.
  • Help arrange travel, logistics, reservations etc. when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Working with the Grace Communications team: Oversee creation and production of web-based video content as needed.
  • Oversee and execute an effective E-mail/text strategy to engage Grace Church online community.
  • Work cross-team to help coordinate online group leaders (Men’s, Women’s, ReEngage etc.).
  • Working with the Sr. Director, build and manage processes to track and engage with new online community members.
