As the Community Supports Services Team Lead, under the supervision of the Local Clinical Director, you will play a critical leadership role in delivering high-quality, therapeutic services that support the continued progress and well-being of members. This position blends clinical expertise, team leadership, and operational coordination to ensure services are effective, timely, and person-centered. In addition, you will have the opportunity to help build and expand additional Community Supports teams while maintaining autonomy with your existing team. This growth will be supported through community engagement and collaboration with local behavioral health partners, allowing you to strengthen resources and connections that benefit both members and staff. Requirements

  • Fully or provisionally licensed in the state of North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC or LCMHC-A)
  • Fully or provisionally licensed in the state of North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LCSW-A)
  • Have provided at minimum 1 year within an adult population through the course of all employment or volunteer work
  • Demonstrate capacity to provide supervision/management to a professional team
  • Required Certification/License: LCMHC, LCMHC-A. LCSW, LCSW-A
  • Regularly walk, stand or stoop occasionally lift, carry, push or pull move objects weighing up to 25 pounds regularly drive a motor vehicle must be physically able to complete NCI-B and CPR

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a Community Supports Team of Qualified and Associate Professionals, providing guidance, consultation, and clinical direction to promote excellence in service delivery
  • Coordinate team schedules to maximize efficiency, ensure appropriate service coverage, and optimize authorized service utilization
  • Provide direct therapeutic services to members as needed, including completing assessments for service authorizations
  • Ensure Person-Centered Plans of Care are accurate, actionable, and aligned with clinical and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain timely and accurate authorizations while ensuring all services are thoroughly and correctly documented
  • Collaborate closely with the Local Clinical Director through ongoing training, education, and clinical oversight to support staff development and service quality
