Requirements

  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to operate a company-owned vehicle.
  • Must be at least twenty-three (23) years of age to operate a company-owned fifteen (15) passenger van.
  • Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
  • Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.
  • Completion of New Hire Orientation and all required training.
  • Must have reliable transportation to transport clients in personal vehicle.
  • Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Education, Criminal Justice, Family Studies, Counseling, Recreational Therapy, Human Services, Human Development, Child Development, Gerontology, Behavioral Science, Rehabilitation Counseling OR...
  • Associate of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support degree from an approved institution OR....
  • Work experience in a related human services field may substitute for educational requirements. Related fields may include direct support such as case management, residential support, developmentally disabled support, vocational rehabilitation, and more. Four years of qualifying experience minimum or a combination of education and experience equaling four years required.
  • OR.... Qualified Addictions Professional (QAP) - CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCJP, RADC-P, RADC, CCDP, CCDP-D

Responsibilities

  • Deliver community-based mental health services, including behavioral interventions and skills-building supports, to promote client recovery and independence.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and key stakeholders to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each client’s goals.
  • Utilize strengths-based, evidence-informed approaches such as Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed strategies, CBT/DBT-based skills, and positive reinforcement techniques.
  • Provide behavioral interventions including motivational interviewing, cognitive processing, operant conditioning, and interpersonal skill-building.
  • Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, schools, providers, and community organizations to ensure holistic support.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of all services, assessments, and progress updates in accordance with agency standards.
  • Participate in training, staff development activities, and professional growth opportunities to strengthen service delivery.
  • Support quality improvement efforts through data collection, reporting, and adherence to agency protocols.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, teachers, counselors, and other professionals involved in client care.
  • Prepare for and facilitate PSR group sessions when applicable to treatment goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
