About The Position
New River Valley Community Services’ New Horizons is seeking a Community Support Professional! The Community Support Professional provides individual and group crisis stabilization, crisis intervention and education services to clients in the residential crisis stabilization program.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or human services related field is required as defined by the VA Board of Counseling.
- QMHP or OMHP eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Provides individual crisis stabilization
- Provides group crisis stabilization
- Provides crisis intervention
- Provides education services to clients in the residential crisis stabilization program
