Community Support Associate (Adults) (KRCC – Knott County Health & Wellness Center) Position: Community Support Associate Company/Location: Kentucky River Community Care/Knott County Health & Wellness Center Employment type: Regular Full-Time

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED with one year of full-time experience working with individuals who receive services for treatment of a behavioral health disorder.
• Must have valid driver’s license with 2 years of driving experience.
• Conscientious
• Dependable
• Good computer skills
• Works well with other staff
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teaching clients the following skills: how to utilize/access community resources, medications adherence, interpersonal skills, behavioral support skills, crisis coping skills, emotional regulation skills, how to access transportation, how to budget/manage finances, and how to shop independently in the community.
• Complete documentation in EMR within 24 hours of service delivery.
• Conduct activities necessary to allow individuals to live with maximum independence in the community.
• Enhance community living through utilizing skills training, cueing or supervision as identified in recipients treatment plan.
• Maintain all trainings and required supervision.
