About The Position

Under the direction of the Community Manager, is responsible for planning and organizing activities and events that cater to the interests and preferences of the residents. Part-time position working approximately 25 hours per week. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include: Planning, organizing, developing, implementing, evaluating, and directing social activities in the clubhouse and excursions outside of the community. Creating a social environment throughout the community and promoting resident participation by coordinating and distributing a monthly newsletter to include soliciting advertisers. Maintaining a balance of recreational activities based upon the demographics and desires of our residents. Coordinating and working with the Community Entertainment/Social Committee. Soliciting ideas from community residents; trips, clubhouse activities, etc. Maintaining the cleanliness, order, and supplies needed in the clubhouse. Coordinating clubhouse activities with committee chairpersons. Engaging residents to participate and volunteer, as needed, in various social activities. Keeping management apprised of relevant matters. Maintaining clubhouse billboards and mail stations with up to date flyers and information. Budgeting and keeping detailed records of money collected and spent for various functions. Decorating the clubhouse for special events and holidays with the help of volunteers. Scheduling of clubhouse rentals, collection and return of damage deposits after event has taken place. Providing back-up support and /or assisting office staff as needed. Assisting with special projects as needed.
