Develops and manages projects assigned to work crew. Transports probationers to and from worksites, tows trailer, and works in outdoor environments throughout the year. Coordinates schedules. Prepares and maintains reports of activities and case documentation of community service restitution hours performed. Ensures compliance with safety procedures. Assigns duties and plans work of others. Conducts drug testing and documents information in department computer system. Signs for and maintain equipment issued.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Two years job related experience.
  • Must have verbal, written communication, supervisory, and organizational skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees, and elected officials.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License.
  • Availability to work weekends and weekdays.

Nice To Haves

  • Construction, building maintenance and/or lawn maintenance skills preferred.
