About The Position

Join us this summer and embark on a journey filled with growth, learning, and endless possibilities! This is a 10 week program and all opportunities are located on-site. Support the Community Relations team by creating and organizing digital and print assets that elevate storytelling, strengthen brand consistency, and amplify Market 32 and Price Chopper’s nonprofit partnerships across the Market 32 Cares pillars (Hunger Relief, Health & Wellness, and Education). This role combines creative design work with hands-on exposure to community partnerships, fundraising campaigns, and local events.

Requirements

  • Academic background: Graphic Design major (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop; Premiere or Lightroom a plus)
  • Basic understanding of branding and layout principles
  • Interest in community relations or nonprofit work a plus
  • Currently enrolled in Graphic Design or related program (preferred).
  • Portfolio demonstrating design skills across digital/print.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and incorporate feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of a Market 32 Cares creative toolkit, including visual identity guidelines and reusable templates for one primary pillar or campaign.
  • Design digital and print assets supporting fundraising initiatives, sponsorships, nonprofit partnerships, in-store activations, and community events.
  • Assist in campaign rollouts across multiple platforms (in-store signage, social, internal communications, email, and print materials).
  • Assist with press events, check presentations, and community activations through event coordination support, photography, and short-form video capture.
  • Participate in community program planning sessions to understand campaign objectives and impact storytelling needs.
  • Help ensure nonprofit partners are elevated through thoughtful, mission-aligned creative.
  • Support administrative and clerical tasks related to community partnerships and sponsorship fulfillment as needed.
