Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, Public Relations, finance, or related field; master's degree is advantageous.
• Proven experience in community relations, business development, sales, or marketing experience.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional leadership and management skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement community outreach strategies to promote organizational goals and values
• Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders
• Plan and coordinate community events, programs, and initiatives
• Serve as the primary point of contact for community inquiries and feedback
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure community engagement aligns with organizational objectives
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community relations activities and adjust strategies accordingly- Represent the organization at community meetings, forums, and public events
• Creates appealing print and digital advertisements and news releases in collaboration with key stakeholders that maintain integrity of Mississippi County Hospital System mission, vision, and values.
• Promotes the organization’s services through active participation in civic events, community organizations, senior centers, employer groups, and other local venues.
