About The Position

We are looking for a Community Relations Assistant to join our team to support our Kendall Cares program with a strong focus on employee engagement, community outreach, and event execution. Responsibilities include assisting with outreach initiatives, managing charitable and sponsorship requests, coordinating with vendors and nonprofit partners, and ensuring brand standards are upheld at all events. This is a hands-on position that involves event setup, breakdown, on-site support, and assisting with contract fulfillments, billing, and payments. The ideal candidate is organized, flexible, and able to adapt quickly to changing event needs and priorities. This is a full-time position, typically 30–40 hours per week, with a schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends based on event needs. The role requires regular local travel and occasional out-of-state travel, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand or sit for extended periods, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required.
  • Previous experience in event planning, community relations, employee engagement, nonprofit work, or a related field is preferred.
  • Basic graphic design experience is required, with the ability to create marketing and event-related materials.
  • The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, and comfortable networking in both professional and community settings.
  • Strong communication skills, creativity, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities are essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive industry experience is a plus, but not required.
