About The Position

The Community Outreach & Marketing Specialist is responsible for strengthening the organization’s brand presence and community relationships through strategic outreach, partnerships, events, and targeted marketing initiatives. This role serves as a key liaison between the organization and the communities it serves, supporting brand awareness, customer engagement, and organizational growth.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Creative, proactive, and comfortable representing the organization publicly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic marketing tools.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally; occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, community relations, outreach, or event coordination preferred.

  • Experience working with community organizations, sponsorships, or local partnerships is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, nonprofits, schools, chambers, and local partners.
  • Coordinate and represent the organization at community events, sponsorships, networking opportunities, and outreach initiatives.
  • Identify new outreach opportunities that align with organizational goals and community needs.
  • Support volunteerism and community involvement efforts in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns that support community outreach, brand awareness, and business objectives.
  • Create and coordinate promotional materials for events, sponsorships, and community initiatives.
  • Support social media, digital, and traditional marketing efforts related to community engagement.
  • Ensure brand standards and messaging are consistently applied across outreach and marketing materials.
  • Plan, coordinate, and support community events, sponsorship activations, and outreach programs.
  • Manage event logistics including timelines, materials, vendor coordination, and on-site support.
  • Track event outcomes and provide post event reporting and recommendations.
  • Work closely with marketing, retail/branch teams, leadership, and external partners.
  • Track outreach activities, sponsorships, and results; prepare reports to measure impact and ROI.
  • Maintain organized records of community partnerships and marketing activities.
