About The Position

Feeding Northeast Florida (FNEFL) is the regional Feeding America food bank serving a 12-county area across Northeast Florida. Through food distribution, nutrition programs, and strategic partnerships, FNEFL works to strengthen lives and communities by ensuring access to nutritious food for all. This position plays an important role in advancing Feeding Northeast Florida’s Food is Medicine initiatives by integrating nutrition care with food access programs and healthcare partnerships. Our Mission: We use food as our catalyst to strengthen lives and communities. Our Vision: Access to nutritious food for all. Within the Nutrition Department, Feeding Northeast Florida is advancing innovative programs that integrate food access with healthcare delivery. Our Prescriptive Nutrition Program connects food-insecure patients with nutrition care and medically supportive food through partnerships with clinics, community organizations, and food pantry networks. This work is part of the growing national Food is Medicine movement recognizing that food plays a critical role in health and chronic disease prevention. This role offers a unique opportunity for a Registered Dietitian to improve health outcomes both at the individual patient level and across the broader communities we serve throughout Northeast Florida. Successful candidates understand that food insecurity and nutrition-related disease are influenced by social and economic factors and are motivated to help remove barriers that prevent individuals and families from accessing healthy food and nutrition care. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in evolving program environments and enjoys building practical solutions while collaborating across healthcare and community systems. The Community Nutrition Clinical Program Manager, RDN provides clinical and operational leadership for Feeding Northeast Florida’s Prescriptive Nutrition Program. This position combines direct patient care with program management to ensure the effective delivery and continued growth of nutrition services within healthcare and community settings. The Prescriptive Nutrition Program has already been piloted successfully and foundational systems and partnerships are in place. This role will focus on refining and strengthening those systems while supporting program expansion and increasing patient access to care. The Program Manager supervises and mentors a Registered Dietitian, helps manage growing patient volume as clinic partnerships expand, and ensures that referral workflows, telehealth services, data collection, and clinical operations function efficiently as the program scales. This role is ideal for a Registered Dietitian who is comfortable practicing outside of traditional clinical environments and who brings adaptability, curiosity, and a strong growth mindset to community-based nutrition care.
