The Community Marketing Manager will be the driving force behind grassroots marketing efforts for the Southeast region, while also providing strategic oversight across additional markets. This role leads a team of Community Marketing Coordinators, focusing on building hyper-local brand awareness, fostering community engagement, and—most importantly—driving qualified leads and increasing membership conversions. In this role, you'll develop and oversee field marketing strategies that bring Orangetheory to life outside our studio walls—through events, partnerships, and local activations. You’ll work closely with studio teams to ensure marketing efforts are not only engaging but directly tied to our lead funnel and studio growth goals.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of marketing experience, with a focus on community, field, or grassroots marketing
  • Proven experience in lead generation and conversion-focused marketing
  • Strong project and event management skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, field-driven environment
  • Willingness to travel locally and regionally (up to 25%)
  • Passion for fitness, wellness, and building community

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of people management experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of 3+ Community Marketing Coordinators across multiple territories.
  • Design and implement grassroots marketing plans to drive local awareness, studio traffic, and qualified leads.
  • Identify and build relationships with local businesses, influencers, schools, and community organizations for strategic partnerships and referral opportunities.
  • Plan and execute community-facing events, activations, and pop-ups that promote the Orangetheory experience and support lead generation and conversion.
  • Partner with studio teams to ensure alignment on marketing execution, lead follow-up, and in-studio promotions.
  • Ensure consistent use of brand messaging, assets, and identity in all local efforts.
  • Track and report on key marketing KPIs including:
  • Leads generated from grassroots initiatives
  • Qualified lead-to-membership conversion rate
  • Event ROI and participation
  • Local partner engagement
  • Support the refinement of marketing materials and processes to increase impact and efficiency.
  • Assist in the training and development of studio management on all local marketing tools and strategies.
  • Manage local marketing budgets and optimize spend toward high-performing efforts.
