About The Position

Old Vineyard Behavioral Health is seeking a talented and dynamic Community Liaison (Marketing Representative) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals! At Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services, we are helping to create brighter, healthier futures for our patients and their families. We are the Piedmont Triad's only private psychiatric hospital meeting the chemical dependency illnesses and behavioral healthcare needs of those in our community. Our 164-bed inpatient services for adolescents through senior adulthood offers comprehensive and individual assessments, psychiatric evaluation and medication stabilization, daily group therapy and personalized aftercare planning. We also offer a Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program to ensure the continuum of care for our patients. Old Vineyard is accredited by The Joint Commission and certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. We are passionate about our work and are looking for individuals who share in this passion. We are currently seeking a Community Liaison to join our talented and caring team. Our ideal candidate will possess strong multitasking skills, great communication skills with the ability to engage positively with referral sources, community partners, providers, OV staff, patients, and their families. Must work well under pressure with several competing priorities and maintain professionalism at all times. Position involves frequent local and out-of-town (in-state) travel with primary territory in Raleigh/Durham/Cary and surrounding markets. The Community Liaison works with external agencies and facilities to increase awareness of Old Vineyard's services, elevate our reputation, and drive demand for our programs and services. The Community Liaison champions effective message development/customization and successfully deploys that message through use of marketing, advertising, social media, and earned media channels. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Human Services, or related field strongly preferred. HS or equivalent required.
  • Prior marketing/sales or other related experience within a healthcare setting required.
  • Must have a valid NC driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Knowledge of and skill in application of marketing principles, including product, placement, pricing, and promotion.
  • Strong accumen in the areas of sales, advertising, social media, online presence, and public relations.
  • Knowledge of the NC behavioral healthcare marketplace, insurance plans, target markets and referral sources, psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment, and age-specific programming.
  • Able to work collaboratively, diplomatically, and with integrity in problem identification, project management, and problem solving activities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ethical principles in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong facilitation skills with proven ability in leading and facilitating teams to desired outcomes.
  • Effective interpersonal skills necessary to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and communicate, facilitate, and negotiate with a wide variety of healthcare personnel and external constituents.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise appropriate action and good business judgement.
  • Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, integrity and diplomacy.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with database systems.
  • Travel, including overnight, required.

  • Previous experience in behavioral health strong preferred.
