Requirements

  • Previous experience in home health, hospice, healthcare marketing, or community outreach is often preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Ability to develop a rapport with local stakeholders and prospective clients.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for travel within the assigned territory.
  • Some positions may require a bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with referral sources such as discharge planners, doctors, and nursing home administrators.
  • Promote home health, hospice, or home care services to potential clients and medical professionals.
  • Attend community events, health fairs, and networking functions to increase agency visibility.
  • Coordinate with hospital staff, families, and internal teams to facilitate smooth patient transitions from hospital to home.
  • Maintain records of sales activity and track data related to patient referrals to ensure company growth goals are met.
