About The Position

Plains Area Mental Health, Inc. is a Community Mental Health Center with 10 locations in Northwest Iowa. PAMHC is seeking a full-time Community Integration Activities Coordinator for The Meeting Place located in Le Mars. Position is 40 hours per week Monday through Friday. Position Summary: This position will plan, organize and facilitate meaningful activities for persons with various disabilities to enhance community integration and personal growth. This position will oversee peers and maintaining the facility.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Social Services or Related Field
  • Experience and desire to work with persons with mental and/or physical challenges
  • Valid Driver’s License and Insurance

Nice To Haves

  • Peer Support & Habilitation Services
  • Bilingual a plus, but not required
