WESTSIDE IS LOOKING FOR A COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKER for its MOBILE HEALTH UNIT! JOIN THE TEAM TAKING CARE OF THE COMMUNITY! Westside Family Healthcare is a nonprofit organization that provides high quality primary medical care without regard to ability to pay. The Community Health Worker for Mobile Health Services engages in outreach efforts for our mobile health clinic. During the harvesting season, the focus is directed toward the migratory and seasonal agricultural worker (MSAW) populations to connect them with the services of Westside Family Healthcare and its collaborating partners. During the harvesting season, the Community Health Worker travels to farms, labor camps and other housing locations within Kent and Sussex Counties to address the health and social service needs of the migratory and seasonal agricultural workers, act as a liaison between them and social services agencies, and participate in health fairs as a lay health educator. Outside of the harvesting season, the Community Health Worker works on projects related to the MSAW population and others in the community. This will include travel to community service centers to address health and social service needs in the community to connect them with Westside services.
