About The Position

The Community Health Specialist will: Operates Mobile Health Unit according to operator's manual specifications and safety measures. Provides for security when operating the unit at health screening and/or community health fair. Inventories equipment and supplies; maintains testing equipment. Assists with recordkeeping, documentation and in health screening activities as assigned per competency and protocol.

Requirements

• Associates degree preferred.
• Knowledge of data management, project management, attention to detail and prioritization.
• Current N.J. Drivers License in good standing, with minimum one year large vehicle driving experience.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with members of the community as well as healthcare professionals.
• Ability to quickly learn patient testing procedures, operations and maintenance of patient testing equipment.
• BLS Certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.
