Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and proactive Community Engagement Specialist to strengthen our brand presence across Upstate New York. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, creating engaging content, and representing a trusted local brand in the community. You will lead outreach efforts, organize events, and collaborate with internal teams to drive visibility and loyalty.
Requirements
- Willingness to work weekends and travel as needed (role based in Albany, NY area)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience in community outreach, event planning, or social media preferred
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (office and field-based)
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage locally focused content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
- Serve as the primary liaison between Reimer branches and their surrounding communities
- Organize and attend local events, outreach programs, and sponsorships
- Represent Reimer Home Services professionally and positively at all times
- Track budgets and inventory for community events and promotional materials
- Collect feedback and report on local market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity
- Inform branch staff about community engagement and social media best practices
- Collaborate with marketing and public relations teams to align local efforts with broader brand goals
