In the US, Dabble is an innovative Daily Fantasy Sports app, launched in 2023 and on an exciting scale-up journey. Backed by the success of our Australian sportsbook, Dabble is revolutionizing the industry by delivering a unique and immersive community-based experience. Unlike traditional DFS apps, Dabble combines social media elements with daily fantasy, offering a newsfeed similar to Instagram or Twitter, where users can follow other players (including friends, ex-athletes and celebrities) and copy their bets with ease. We’re looking for someone with a genuine love of social media, strong creative instincts, an eye for community moments, and a passion for helping shape how Dabble shows up across sport, culture, and conversation. The Community Engagement Coordinator (US) at Dabble will be integral to our Community Engagement function, ensuring all interactions within 'Banter' (Dabble's in-app social media channel) reflect our core values. You will provide dynamic leadership to foster a consistent, connected, and vibrant community spirit. Dabble is a pioneering social Daily Fantasy Sports App. This role will lead the planning and execution of engaging community campaigns, identify compelling community narratives within the app to showcase externally, and refine go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new products. You will also implement automated moderation processes, analyze key metrics, and consistently elevate the in-app user experience. This is a pivotal role in shaping the future of Dabble's community engagement, building meaningful connections, and contributing to the company's ongoing success.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience as a social media moderator or customer service representative
  • Proven experience interacting with sports fans, ideally gained through marketing, CRM, or other related roles
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, adaptable, and enthusiastic
  • Resilient and confident, able to interact comfortably with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Demonstrated high levels of personal integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Engage authentically with the Dabble community in-app on ‘Banter’ using a friendly and conversational tone. Serve as both a knowledgeable resource and a supportive community member that users can rely on
  • Ensure the 'Banter' community experience consistently reflects Dabble's core values
  • Celebrate community achievements, such as Big Wins, Follower Milestones, and Hot Streaks, by sharing these successes across 'Banter' channels
  • Document key moments and highlights from 'Banter' channels to share with the broader team
  • Curate compelling content from 'Banter' for potential repurposing on the Dabble app or external social media platforms
  • Collaborate on monthly reporting and KPI targets
  • Collaborate closely with both the Community Engagement team and other departments to successfully execute 'Banter' campaigns, giveaways, promotions, and other initiatives
