About the Community Director position We are seeking a highly qualified, motivated Community Director for our Mt. Airy Community. Qualified Candidates will have at least two years managerial experience. He or she should be prepared to demonstrate proven and measurable results. This is a fast-paced, high intensity role in the dynamic work environment and the ideal candidate will have the appropriate background and skills. Critical factors in consideration for this role include: Strong leasing and sales experience. Good organizational ability, and effective delegation. The right candidate must be outgoing and self-starting, skilled at initiating relationships, following up and overcoming objections. Outstanding customer service and sales skills are essential to the position. Candidates must have regular access to a vehicle and be legally allowed to drive in the state of Pennsylvania, some commuting will be required. Access to reliable transportation and a valid PA driver’s license is a necessity. Advanced computer skills.

Requirements

  • At least two years managerial experience
  • Strong leasing and sales experience.
  • Good organizational ability, and effective delegation.
  • Outgoing and self-starting, skilled at initiating relationships, following up and overcoming objections.
  • Outstanding customer service and sales skills
  • Regular access to a vehicle and be legally allowed to drive in the state of Pennsylvania, some commuting will be required.
  • Access to reliable transportation and a valid PA driver’s license
  • Advanced computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect each building weekly
  • Inspect vacant apartments and decide on the extent of the turnover repairs/redecorating
  • Inspect apartments ready for move in
  • Ensure rental agreements are being properly completed and renewed.
  • Assure that company equipment is kept in proper working order
  • Assure that policy and procedures are being followed
  • Report any worker’s compensation claims within 24 hours from the time of injury
  • Supervise on-site personnel
  • Conduct employee evaluations and/or counseling statements
  • Oversee daily marketing/sales/customer service effort
  • Review shopping reports
  • Review monthly sales reports
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
