Plans, organizes, and directs the operation of the Community Development Department (CDD) including oversight of current planning, long range planning, special projects, building and code enforcement, burn control, and administrative support. The Director also serves as the SEPA Responsible Official. This is an administrative and professional planning position, providing policy guidance and recommendations to the Walla Walla County Planning Commission, the Hearing Examiner, and the Board of County Commissioners in the development, modification, and implementation of comprehensive plans, building and development codes, and environmental regulations.
