We are seeking passionate individuals for the role of Community Detention Administrator IV of Community Detention (CD) , so come join our team and make a meaningful impact on youth and the community at DJS! This position is responsible for providing administrative supervision of the regional CD operations. This includes the Community Field Operations, the Command Center, and the GPS/CDRR Rapid Response Teams. The Community Detention Administrator will work directly with the Executive Directors of Community Operations to ensure that the departmental goals are being met and that the CD and GPS standard operating procedures are carried out. The CD Program houses two very critical functions: providing direct supervision and surveillance for youth court ordered into an alternative to detention and placed on home detention; and youth requiring GPS supervision to track movements 24/7 in the community. Both facets of the operation are directly related to public safety. Requiring the CD Administrator to work closely with their team to ensure compliance, requiring periods of On-Call Administrative duties due to the 24/7 operational needs. The position requires the incumbent to be available 24/7 to respond to EM/GPS needs.
