With our digital presence continuing to expand, we’re looking for someone to help foster meaningful engagement and strengthen the community around our brand. As our Community & Content Coordinator, you’ll serve as the brand's daily voice across social platforms. This role focuses on engagement, outreach, and maintaining an active, professional presence online. You will support the execution of our content strategy by editing short-form videos, monitoring trends, and building relationships with independent retailers through consistent interaction. This is a part-time, hybrid position ideal for an early-career marketing or communications professional seeking hands-on experience in social media management and community development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to maintain a professional, brand-aligned tone.
  • Comfort navigating multiple social media platforms for business use.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage time independently.
  • Interest in branding, retail, or creative industries.
  • Basic familiarity with video editing tools (CapCut, Canva, Adobe, or similar).

Responsibilities

  • Engage with followers across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and YouTube by responding to comments and messages in a timely, professional manner.
  • Proactively interact with industry-related accounts through thoughtful commenting and outreach.
  • Direct message new followers, current customers, and prospective leads as part of structured outreach campaigns.
  • Share relevant content to stories and assist in maintaining consistent platform activity.
  • Monitor trends within the independent retail and creative business space.
  • Edit and repurpose pre-recorded video and photo content into short-form social media posts (primarily reels and carousels).
  • Assist with scheduling content and tracking engagement metrics.
