About The Position

Reporting to the Dean of Liberal Arts & Sciences, the instructor develops and delivers foundational Chemistry courses in both online and on-campus formats for students preparing to transfer to four-year institutions. The instructor is an active member of the Chemistry Department, participating in departmental meetings and initiatives, supporting student recruitment, and contributing to student success and the broader mission of the college.

Requirements

  • Master's degree with a major in chemistry or a Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester credits (27 graduate quarter credits) in chemistry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver foundational Chemistry courses in both online and on-campus formats
  • Participate in departmental meetings and initiatives
  • Support student recruitment
  • Contribute to student success and the broader mission of the college
