This position involves providing competent community-based services in various settings such as the community, school, and patient's home, as assigned by a supervisor and specified in the patient's treatment plan. The role emphasizes patient strengths, assists in identifying and engaging new patients, and communicates regularly with referral sources. It includes providing case consultation, maintaining clinical outcomes, and offering services in Prairie View’s Summer Intensive Rehabilitation Program (SIRP). The manager will engage in patient-centered activities like highlighting strengths, problem-solving, crisis intervention, goal setting, linking patients to community resources, teaching life and parenting skills, and advocating for patients. The role requires demonstrating competency in working with child/adolescent patients and their caregivers, understanding typical/atypical behavior, and establishing appropriate limits. Administrative duties include attending meetings, maintaining records, documenting interventions, cooperating with staff, participating in supervision, organizing schedules, ensuring service authorization, and completing medical records within specified timeframes. The position also involves maintaining monthly billable expectations, transporting patients, providing community education, and engaging in professional development including state training, continuing education, and participation in quality assurance activities.
