About The Position

Children and Family Treatment Support Services (CFTSS) offers voluntary therapeutic support to youth under 21. Through Psychosocial Rehabilitative Services (PSR) and Community Psychiatric Support and Treatment (CPST), providers deliver social and emotional support tailored to each youth's needs. Utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), the program assists youth in developing skills to overcome behavioral challenges and achieve healthy, age-appropriate functioning within their home, school, and community environments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED - PSR position - required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field - for CPST position
  • 2 years experience in Human Service field required
  • Driver's License and ability to maintain insurability throughout employment required

Responsibilities

  • Provide Community Psychiatric Support and Treatment (CPST).
  • Build strong and supportive, therapeutic relationships with youth and their families that meet their needs and follow their treatment plan.
  • Promote the caregiver-child relationship in accordance with the established treatment plan.
  • Timely identify and effectively communicate all behavioral, emotional or medical needs with consented providers that are involved in the youth's care.
  • Confer regularly with the program supervisor, licensed professional, and program director as needed on each child's progress.
  • Providers are responsible for completing required administrative functions, including scheduling visits with child/youth, planning activities with youth, and completing all documentation requirements in a timely manner.
  • Providers are responsible for providing safe transportation as a part of service delivery.
  • Providers must collaborate with child/youth, family members, and other involved service providers to provide comprehensive care.
