The Community Based Services Provider (“CBSP”) provides a range of behavioral health support services to youth within our Home and Community Based Services (“HCBS”) program. Youth in this program have identified, or are at risk of, mental health, substance abuse, or developmental challenges. All services are intended to improve their health and well-being and to maintain them in their homes and communities. Services are delivered in the youth’s home, school, or other community settings, and are always goal-directed based on the individual needs of that youth and family. The CBSP staff person will primarily deliver Caregiver/Family Advocacy Support Services (CFASS), Pre-Vocational Services and Respite. These services, under the HCBS umbrella is designed to restore, rehabilitate, and support a child’s/youth’s developmentally appropriate functioning as necessary for the integration of the child/youth as an active and productive member of their family and community.
