About The Position

SCOPE OF POSITION: Primary liaison working with state and local partners to lead education efforts relating to program goals and objectives; implement and monitor program systems; coordinate local program; act as liaison to program director(s); provide youth, parent/trusted adult, and/or community engagement and information dissemination. Plan, manage, and implement evidence-based curriculum and/or education program to targeted populations. Responsible for organizing and ensuring implementation of all aspects and technical portions specifically assigned including management, conducting and/or overseeing all required program deliverables. Support the program director(s) with research and reports, writing, editing and/or auditing of required documents. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Ensure implementation of approved curriculum and/or education program to target population. Maintains the administrative records including official original grant/contract documents for specific assignments. Responsible for post award implementation through close-out for assigned grant/contract. Manage day-to-day program tasks with a collaborative approach weaving together concurrent programs or other organizations to leverage and maximize resources to create community and targeted population-based interventions. Develops correspondence and reports as well as disseminates grant/contract documents to appropriate departments. Assists in the development and implementation of appropriate policies and procedures for successful grant/contract implementation. Develops processes, implements procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow. Works with director(s) to develop and administer a system for tracking and monitoring assigned grant/contract for compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and funding requirements. Works with director(s) to develop and maintain all grant/contract deliverables incompliance with agreements. Compiles, stores, and retrieves grant/contract compliance data on a regular basis for monitoring purposes and as requested by management and funding agency. Evaluates the results of overall operations regularly and systematically and reports these results to the program director(s). Produces written correspondence to distribute and request information to both internal and external parties. Provides progress report preparation, subcontract monitoring, and close out documentation. Provides technical support regarding grants/contracts to resolve issues and correct deficiencies as needed. Advises participants of updates by providing correspondence, training and/or regular meetings as established by the funding agency or needs of the group. Enforces and resolves complaints connected with projects according to policies and procedures. Establishes and maintains a communicative relationship with appropriate counterparts. Assists in budget preparation, review, and execution. Assists in special projects, outreach activities, and/or assigned teams. Follow AFMC, state and federal protocols regarding data confidentiality/security and HIPAA compliance. Adhere to format, content, and style guidelines, giving consideration to usability and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality. Additional duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • One (1) year of experience in youth and/or community education programs, curricula delivery, public relations, and program implementation; understanding of local community and culture.
  • Two years of equivalent experience in education, social work, or related fields.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance with an acceptable driving record.
  • Reliable, high-speed wireless internet service (Wi-Fi)

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in relevant field.
  • Five (5) years’ work experience in related field may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree. If work experience is substituted it is in addition to stated work experience requirements.
