About The Position

This is a full time position at 35 hours a week, with a pay range of $22.00- $25.00 per hour. Please note, the following hours for this position include: During the school calendar year, the hours are 1:30-9:00 pm During school breaks, the shifts will vary 9:00 am-4:30 pm and/or 10:30 am-6:00 pm During school half days the hour are 11 am -7 pm During summer months, the shifts will vary 8:30 am-4:00 pm and/or 10:00 am-5:30 pm This 12-month position is part of the Community-Based Programs Department. The CFT is responsible for providing counseling (individual and family) to youth and their families at identified R-Centers. They also provide crisis response, consultation and information and referral services. They are responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments that identify the immediate and longer-term of the youth referred. Based upon this assessment, a service plan is created that includes the immediate direct services to be provided as well as referrals to other resources in the school and the community. The CFT works closely with the R-Center staff who generate the referrals and assists them to integrate into the R-Center community.

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in human services, education or a related field; and five (5) years of experience or an equivalent combination of education, employment and life experience.
  • Authorization for the agency to obtain driving record information and approval by agency insurance carrier
  • Regular access to a motor vehicle, and automobile insurance at the level of $100,000 per person/$300,000 per accident Bodily Injury and $50,000 Property Damage
  • Access to a telephone
  • Candidates must be able to be autonomously mobile in order to provide the required services.

Nice To Haves
